Ben O'Folk
BEN O'Folk is solo project of Benedict, former member of improvised music duo "Diagonal Stable" and co-Founder of Ohayo Records indie label. For more than 10 years, this indie scene activist has explored different fields of musical expression ranging from pop to noise sound and soundscape work term, constantly trying to push up the limits.
He first worked on sound construction making musical instruments with little engines, and begin to turn now on a complete bareness using "tools" from daily life (plant, stone, steel surface, etc..).
Benedict used to play in duet, trio or solo opening for Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Mosq, Stuntman 5, Ocher, Festival Musique Action (Nancy), Festival capharnaüm (Reims), Festival index (Rouen), Shalabi Effect ...
