about my music project, sibsi & the silhouettes:
"tell him I was at farmlab and the woman we talked to when we there told her friend about the band playing in berlin he recommended and the friend went and really loved it and she wanted to thank him and i told her about how he played songs in chinatown and she asked what they were like and I said he specializes in obscure german songs that only I know and other songs filled with inside jokes and references to his friends who are in the audience, with pauses in the songs for the purposes of pointing at each other and brief reminiscences, and she said she would love to hear him and have him play there at farmlab, and when she asked where he was i said he left and there was a moment of silence while we both mourned his non-presence, so you can tell him that LA misses him..."
