I made it passed the 2nd hurdle

Last week I was contacted that I'm a potential match for someone in need of a bone marrow or stem cell transplant. I had been contacted a few years back for a 24 yr old woman with leukemia, but her sister was able to donate & she was a closer match than me after they tested an additional 12 points of my blood for compatibility.
I've had people ask me if I'm afraid because donating bone marrow is supposed to hurt. You know what hurts more, watching someone you love die because there's no one willing to donate their bone marrow or stem cells.
