Schwervon! just got asked to play Popfest New England on Nov. 27th in Northampton, Mass. We've decided to try and book a little tour around it. We are looking to fill dates in and around the area for the 10th-13th of Nov. If anyone has any good suggestions please don't hesitate to drop us a line. Thanks!

The Flywheel

I played there while on tour with Griffin and the True Believers. It's a community arts space. I really liked it - we played with some other good groups and the crowd there was really supportive despite not knowing us.

Try Cafe 9

Try Cafe 9 in New Haven, www.cafe9.com. Also, a community space I've played a few times is the Buttonwood Tree in Middletown, CT which is where the Wesleyan campus is. www.buttonwood.org

Still looking to fill the 11th and the 14th...

Here's my story!

Hello,
My name is Matt and my band Schwervon! (a duo from NYC) is planning a tour in support of our New England Popfest http://www.skippingstonesrecords.com/popfest/2010/ gig on Saturday, November 13th. We're looking to book a show in the Northeast area on the 11th or 14th of November. Would love to set up a show with some other local acts or if you have any suggestions for any other indie spaces or local promoters that would be great. We are very much into the DIY spirit and run an indie music hub called Olive Juice Music in NYC. http://www.olivejuicemusic.com/

Looking forward to hearing from you!
Thanks
Matt

My son-in-laws band has this gig on Oct 29. Since you want to play with local bands you may want to look into it.

Sounds like a great time to me.

Yes, its me. You may now genuflect.

I'm looking into possible

I'm looking into possible house venues, one on Wesleyan College's campus (they're super down with DIY music) and if worst comes to worse I can find a place by my house in Hartford (about 35 mins away from Northampton)
