Dedicated to The James Bond Legacy, A Question of Solitude
Dear New OJ Board Readers... I will gradually get the hang of this new format...
I have a new show, and it helps to announce it here: A Question of Solitude, at the Williamsburg Art and Historical Center running for 4 performances, Fridays and Saturdays, Nov 5,6,12&13.
New dizozza music helps tell of the following tale...
Uncle James and Senior Bond infiltrate a plot to occupy inner earth while Jimmy, confronting his solitude, helps 2 fallen presbyterian missionaries escape the clutches of HHARM....
Come see my new musical Opera, A QUESTION OF SOLITUDE, inspired by and dedicated toooo The James Bond Legacy.... Come see this inspiring ensemble staging
This first staging of the words and music of "A Question of Solitude" is a collaborative effort of 8 people, Mike Hill, Flemming Laursen, Anne-Marie Levey-Allauzen, Sam Moree, Zach Pethoud, Lydia Woods and Kat Yew.
Sam Moree is Senior Bond, I am Uncle James and, yes, Mike Hill IS ...
It runs November 5th, 6th, 12th and 13th, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30...
The Williamsburg Art and Historical Center,
135 Broadway
Brooklyn, NY 11211
Admission is $18. Discount code ?ofS permits $10 admission. (Ticket sales pay for production.)
Take the L to Bedford and walk south to the Williamsburg Bridge. Take the J, Z or M and walk west on Broadway... it's the corner of Bedford and Broadway....
As usual, my theater event runs concurrent with an amazing exhibit... this one being The Juried Tri-Fold Book Art Exhibit... the website is http://www.wahcenter.net. Since this building became the Williamsburg Art and Historical Center it, like the Guggenheim Museums, has followed an independent direction toward surrealism. The founders, Yuko Nii and Terrance Lindall, are artists. While Terrance's work may be familiar to fans of Creepy Eerie Vampirella mags, his recent recognition has been for his Paradise Lost illustrations
four performances... 7:30 Friday and Saturday Nov 5,6,12&13.
You are cordially invited. Press passes and comps available. Call 917-915-7635.
Peter Dizozza
One night remaining. You need to see Peter Dizozza's new James Bond musical. The whole first section is like an opera or something. All the dialogue is set to music. Surreal, pornographic, hilarious, charming, and, as with all of Peter's stuff, like nothing else. Go.
Also, the book-art exhibit one floor down is gorgeous.
Peter you should post your shows by clicking on the event link below the "post content" topic on the left of the homepage: http://www.olivejuicemusic.com/node/add/event
