Too bad they don't tell you how to dispose of them safely.

I'm normally not the paranoid type, but I'm getting the feeling China is trying to kill us all.

Beware of big grocery stores

I stay away from big grocery stores as much as I can. Everything they do has do be done on such a mass scale you can never really trust the quality control. I'd try to stick to local Co ops and farmers markets.

Speaking of China, ABC news had some interesting segments about China last night. Sorry about the commercials.

what?!

I thought you Americans always used brown paper grocery bags that split at the bottom when you're having a bad day...you mean the movies lied?!

Next you'll be telling me you actually say goodbye before hanging up the phone...

They charge you for those shitty bags now...

That's why I don't use them. Although, I have to admit they work good for putting my recycled paper in.

I didn't realize about the phone thing. I think I say, "Bye." Maybe you just know rude Americans?

How I miss those brown paper

How I miss those brown paper grocery bags. I read somewhere the plastic bags are actually better for the environment, something about the way they decompose & take up less space, but I forget the details.

Matt, I'd check where your bags are made no matter where you get them from. Mine aren't from a big grocery store & the tag reads Made in China. I'm still going to use them, just not for food stuffs.
