I know some OJ folks have talked about digging Cassavetes in the past.

Anyone wanna go see his final flick LOVE STREAMS tonight?

It's great -- from what I sketchily remember seeing it a few years ago -- and it's not on DVD in the US.

Crap! I saw this too late.

Crap! I saw this too late. I would have loved to see it again. It IS a great film. I only knew it from a commercial VHS version which was apparently a little chopped. Still, great.

A shame

It's a shame y'all missed it. The flick is even better than I remembered. It might be my favorite Cassavetes... now I have to go back and watch them all again just to be sure (ha ha).

And Steve, I was just reading about the alternate versions of the movie and apparently that VHS is only missing about 20 seconds compared to the French DVD version (supposedly the most complete version). However, the VHS is MISLABELED on the tape as being 20 minutes shorter. So there became this widely held misconception that the Cannon Group or MGM cut the crap out of it, where apparently they only took out a few little things (which I THINK were still cut out of the print I saw).
