Plexiglass?

I'm looking to get a specifically cut size piece of plexiglass. Has anyone ever done this? Any ideas how much a piece of 35" x 30" piece of clear plexiglass about an inch thick would cost? Any suggestions of a good place to do it that is accessible by train in the NYC area?

The 2 Mom and Pop hardware stores near me don't have it but I'll try a bigger one a little ways away. I don't know if it has to be an inch think. I just said that off the top of my head.

Your local hardware store should carry plexiglass. Ace Hardware, etc. I dunno about the 1" thick though, but they may be able to order it for you. Good luck!
