hello!
..um.. since nobody seems to be into the room swap berlin-NY that i announced earlier here, i am now also looking for a room to rent for the months of march and april!! ;)
my name is theresa, i am a 28 year old musician from berlin, and i want to come to ny to play gigs and check out all the music. my friends sibsi and josepha recommended me this very nice website, so if any of you can help me in any way, that would be absolutely amazing!!

..also a place to stay for just a shorter period of time would be very helpful, it doesnt have to be only the entire 2 months.. i wouldt mind patchworking and moving around between different places...i just need something, really ;)

Hi All
Sorry for the mass email, but I've got a room open in my apartment here in the Kensington nabe of BK that I need to get rented ASAP. We had someone lined up, but they bailed on us, so I'm putting out an APB to see if anyone knows someone looking for a room. It's a small-ish room, (10' x 10'), but it's only $458/month (cheap!), and utilities average about $40 a month (cheap!). The apartment is nice and airy, with a nice living room, full kitchen, and a recently renovated bathroom. Best of all, Prospect Park is only two short blocks away. It's a month-to-month deal, so it could even be someone looking for a temporary place to lay their head & gather their wits. Anyone interested should drop me an email...

this has temporary housing solutions, including swaps, sublets, etc. finding a room for two months can sometimes be difficult, but if you keep searching, you'll find something.
