Born & bred there on 29th St.

Born & bred there on 29th St. & Ditmars Blvd. I'm a Ditmars Girl! Hung out most days in Astoria Park by the monument.

They now have a really cool open mic at Waltz Astoria on 23rd & Ditmars. I think Elizabeth Devlin played there a few times. Its a really nice spot.

Yes, its me. You may now genuflect.

Astoria

We had a picnic in the park and we drove them right by your childhood home on the tour.

Did you place a wreath at the place of my birth??

Did you remember to take them to LaGulie's for an italian ice and Rose & Joe's for a pizza?? The Bistro on Ditmars & 21st is wonderful too! A gal I grew up with owns it.
Ahh, gotta love Astoria! What a great neighborhood to grow up in, and only 20 min from midtown!

Astoria tour

We didn't go in to any other places but the bread at the picnic did come from R&J's (of course!)
