Dream?

This question may sound facetious but its not--
What American dream?
Considering the last 235 or so years, what does that mean? And is there a reason to "save" it?

Good point. I guess the American Dream means different things to different people. What does it mean to you? Perhaps it's just time for human social evolution to weed out the American Dream? Are there any parts of the American dream worth saving? Does it need to be totally destroyed or just revised?
