agreed.

Those are great. You and Monica are both fully developed performers already in the 1978 clip. Her high notes!!

ooh! Nice to see you have THIS one up, too:

I still have an art crush on Mary Robinson based on this one performance. You two were a great team here. Did she continue performing?

Updates from 1978-82

Dear Steve, Wow, thank you for enjoying and commenting on these... It's a chance to think about them... Monica didn't even know the crime wave video existed and it made her very happy that it does... me, too, really, because it has that first performance intensity... oh, and I was disappointed with it because it didn't have an ending... you can see now how easy it is to overlap the ending of the other lesser "take" to this performance...

Quick note for anyone interested in video transfer... A usb plug that goes from the video player into my 5 year old IBM thinkpad which I bought refurbished is allowing me to turn these tapes into computer files... Further note... the format I can easily edit, ".avi" is proprietary to "avid" which created a home program called "pinnacle" which issued a $30.00 usb plug called "razzle." All I bought was the usb plug. I was very excited to see that the box it came in lists many Patent Numbers!!

The 1978 videographers Vinny Rokus and Frank Didek are still around... unique and inspiring individuals.

This performance by Mary Robinson is one of maybe three that I know of...I don't think she continued to perform... I remember she was, what, a mathematician?? Also, in terms of introducing me to an activity I used to love doing... she was a trained photographer who taught me to set up a darkroom to develop and print pictures in a bathtub ...
