It's been years since I had a copy of this huge essay I wrote about Prewar Yardsale, I thought maybe it was lost forever - but I just found it preserved on a website!

Great Piece. Just scratches the surface IMHOP. Lot's of planets in alignment during that recording. I think it might have been the first full record I ever recorded.

You thought it was lost? wasn't it in AntiMatters?
Hey, I continue to wish that the prior Mike Rechner back catalog were digitally available. Why don't we get to hear the "Wrecked Car" album or even the "Protest Song" single unless we have our cassettes? I for one would also like to see an archival series of much unreleased stuff.

Well, I thought it was "lost" in digital format, like I couldn't find the essay in my computer or in emails anywhere... I do have that Antimatters issue somewhere, but if somebody wanted to read the piece or if I wanted to re-edit it I'd have had to transcribe it all again. So I'm very glad it was saved on that website!
Yeah, when is Wrecked Car gonna be on CD??!?!?! Or on Bandcamp at least?!?!
And the Mike Rechner 1997 "Folk Ballads" album...
well, you've all heard me rant about this stuff before.

Prewar
That was the best thing ever written about PWY. I gave it a shot years later in Boog City, but nothing beats this one.
