KnotPineBox
KnotPineBox, AKA Karen Hancock, has been playing electric guitar for long time. Originally working with songwriting in bands like Flicker, Violet Ray and PineBox, her music has progressed into found sound collage. KnotPineBox is a solo melodic improv project using simple sound effects with guitar, tapes and toys. All samples are live and imagery is sometimes recycled. She also records and performs with the Seattle electro/folk/downtempo band Saba.
